A new thematic episode dedicated to NEUTRALPATH is available for streaming. Tune in to ICONS Innovation Stories podcast!
Congestion, air pollution and rising emissions put pressure on European cities: rethinking how people and goods move has become a crucial part of the road to climate neutrality. Urban transport still accounts for a large share of energy use and emissions, but cities across Europe are testing new ways to make mobility cleaner, more efficient and more accessible.
The new episode of the ICONS Innovation Stories podcast series titled “NEUTRALPATH – The road to climate neutrality: reshaping urban mobility” takes listeners on a tram journey across several European cities.
Through the voices of Luke Bojcev (Smart City Manager, City of Dresden), Theodoros Gkiourkas (Region of Western Macedonia, Kozani), Tanya Hristova (Mayor of Gabrovo) and Ruxandra Aelenei (urban mobility expert and lecturer at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) the podcast shows how local authorities are piloting new technologies while dealing with driver shortages, funding constraints and complex regulations.
Tune in to discover why putting people at the core of transport innovation is a key station on the route to climate-neutral urban districts. The latest episode of ICONS Innovation Stories is available on Spotify.
