On the 27th of February 2024 the University of Ghent launched the first edition of the EnergyFest where expertise met opportunity.
EnergyFest emphasised the multidisciplinary nature of Ghent University’s energy research community, as evident in its speaker lineup. The event featured four keynote speakers who set the stage for a transformative energy transition and DUO Talks, a platform where UGent researchers collaborated with industrial and societal partners.
Energy transition challenges were also highlighted during dynamic brainstorm sessions, delving into the complexities of the evolving energy landscape. Additionally, the energy fair served as a vibrant showcase where Ghent University and EnerGhentIC colleagues presented ongoing research, shared expertise, and unveiled the latest innovations.
Among the showcased projects, NEUTRALPATH demonstrated its commitment to supporting cities in their transition to climate neutrality, contributing to the festival’s overall mission.
