NEUTRALPATH was represented by CARTIF and ICONS at the European Climate Horizon (ECHO) 2030 Days, the closing conference of the Scalable Cities initiative, held in Lyon, France, from 26 to 28 August 2025.
Hosted by the City of Lyon and SPL Lyon Confluence, the event gathered cities, researchers, policymakers and industry to reflect on more than ten years of innovation and cooperation in building climate-neutral urban solutions.
NEUTRALPATH took part in the session on Energy Performance of Buildings, which explored challenges such as renovating existing stock, meeting higher standards for new constructions and the role of digitalisation and post-occupancy monitoring. The project highlighted practical, replicable solutions that can improve building performance across Europe.
“ECHO 2030 highlighted the critical role of lighthouse projects in developing innovative, scalable and transferable solutions. It clearly showed that collaboration between cities, research centres, industry and citizens is essential to shape a built environment that is sustainable, efficient and inclusive,” said Cecilia Sanz, NEUTRALPATH Project Coordinator (CARTIF).
