This webinar, organised by NEUTRALPATH, focuses on the design and implementation of Positive and Clean Energy Districts (PCEDs) under the Climate Neutral and Smart Cities Mission.
As part of the Community of Practice, this session is dedicated to professionals working with building energy simulations and indoor comfort assessments. The workshop will introduce SIM-VICUS, a dynamic simulation software for buildings and districts developed by TU Dresden, used to model energy performance and thermal comfort at both building and network scale.
The session will be illustrated through a real use case: the Pillnitz Quarter (Site B), a district-scale development in Dresden where simulation supports design and decision-making. Participants will learn the fundamentals of setting up a building model, defining key parameters (such as materials, systems, and usage profiles), running simulations, and interpreting results.
By joining the NEUTRALPATH Community of Practice, participants gain access to a growing network of professionals, researchers, and stakeholders dedicated to advancing positive energy districts and climate neutrality across Europe.
