On the 5th of December CARTIF and EUROCITIES are jointly organising a webinar featuring NEUTRALPATH and ASCEND in order to discuss the need and challenges on business models and financing for Positive and Clean Energy Districts (PCEDs).
The process of developing PCEDs is complex and involves a range of stakeholders, each with its own goals, limits, and investment priorities. Successful PCEDs must meet the various needs of their stakeholders, which calls for flexible and specific business strategies. The lack of a universal business model emphasizes the necessity of having an in-depth discussion about difficulties and experiences in order to look into creative solutions.
The goal of the webinar is to examine and discuss new and current finance options as well as business strategies for PCED implementation. Drawing inspiration from previous initiatives and projects, the session will delve into the challenges and opportunities identified by the NEUTRALPATH and ASCEND projects. The event’s participatory format will foster a lively dialogue by motivating participants to exchange personal stories, ask insightful questions, and work together to find practical solutions Furthermore, valued partners including PROSPECT+, Scalable Cities and Making-City will play an active role in contributing to the discussions.
