From 26 to 28 August 2025, the Scalable Cities initiative will host the ECHO 2030 Days in Lyon, France, organised by the City of Lyon and SPL Lyon Confluence.
The event will bring together cities, project partners and EU stakeholders to reflect on more than ten years of work on scalable solutions for climate-neutral cities. The programme includes high-level sessions, workshops, networking and site visits.
Highlights include:
- A keynote by Mayor Grégory Doucet
- A “Scalable Cities Hall of Fame” celebrating the 28 Horizon-funded projects
- Thematic visits to Lyon’s clean energy, retrofitting, mobility, and greening initiatives
- A peer-to-peer session between the host and visiting cities
NEUTRALPATH will be represented at the event, with the project coordinator Cecilia Sanz Montalvillo (CARTIF) moderating sessions on behalf of both MAKING-CITY and NEUTRALPATH. In addition, Stefania Mascolo (EUROCITIES) will join the event as part of the project team.
The ECHO 2030 Days will mark a key moment for sharing knowledge, celebrating results and looking ahead to the future of scalable solutions for climate-neutral cities across Europe.
