Eurocities recently published an article highlighting NEUTRALPATH Capacity Building Programme, which is designed to help cities achieve climate neutrality through collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
“Achieving climate neutrality in cities requires collaboration and knowledge-sharing across sectors, actors, and borders,” says Stefania Mascolo, Project Coordinator at Eurocities. The programme provides participating cities with tools and expertise to develop Positive and Clean Energy Districts while addressing key challenges such as resource limitations and stakeholder engagement.
The article emphasises the importance of local involvement and peer learning in changing climate strategies, including insights and lessons from cities our lighthouse city, Zaragoza, and fellow city, Ghent. The first in-person session in Istanbul showcased real-world solutions and collaborative problem-solving, reaffirming the potential of united city-led climate action.
