As we embark on this journey towards a climate-neutral future, we are glad to share the inaugural edition of our newsletter, bringing you the latest updates and insights from NEUTRALPATH.

The NEUTRALPATH project continues to be at the forefront of innovation, aiming at developing Positive and Clean Energy Districts (PCEDs) and co-designing efficient and climate-friendly solutions.

The lighthouse cities of Dresden and Zaragoza are joining forces with the aim to be pioneers at the EU level in climate neutrality and zero pollution by 2030. They will be acting as experimentation and innovation hubs paving the way for all European cities to follow suit by 2050.

The fellow cities of Istanbul, Ghent and Vantaa have expressed their commitment to work with Zaragoza and Dresden, supporting and sharing the process of decarbonisation.

In these past months, NEUTRALPATH has finalised the set-up of five Climate Neutral Labs (CN-Labs), one for each city involved in the project. These living labs, focused on involving local stakeholders and citizens in co-designing PCEDs, will play a crucial role in facilitating the development of capacity-building materials, shaping business models and financial strategies, and fostering the creation of innovative governance models.
